Sup ya'll!!!

I hope you're doing well out there! I'm just about recovered from our Canada trip... (still fighting the jet-lag) and boy did I have some changes the past days.

MONTREAL, CANADA
One word : AWESOME!
I simply want to thank the crowds at the party, we've never seen such response before ever! Despite a lot of problems before we actually got to start our performance it all went super! And problems you say, - Yeah! What first happened was that we didn't get a computer powerfull enough and it ended up crashing about 10 minutes before we where supposed to go on. Audiodriver just went nuts, Logic crashed a number of times on us and so on... It all ended up with us being forced to post pone our performance for about two hours and let the next Dj (Indica - a mad man behind the decks!!! (Congrats to the engagement between You and Lady M!)) do his job before us.

Anyways, it took us about 50 minutes to figure out all the problems with the computer and to get it running smoothly again - so @ about 5 am, two hours behind schedule it was time for us to do our work. Indica scared the crap out of us with his insane acid set that drove the crowds nuts. We didn't really expect our music to work to well with a crowd that hyped by acid techno, though our fear was unjust. But before we could start, more problems! Our mixer seemed to have gone dead on the outputs, even though it worked perfect during the soundcheck. So we spent about 5 minutes of silent waiting before the army of cable ppl managed to sort it all out. We began, ppl started screaming & cheering, and they wouldn't stop until we where finnished - after that it took well over a minute before the next Dj could start due to applause, cheering, screaming, cryin & greetings from the crowds.... A straight out fucking fantastic feeling!

- So once more, thanks to all the crazy kids who showed up in Montreal for this mad night! I also have to give out some mad credits to Tim, the guy we lived with for having us over & taking good care of us, and hey, Tim - next time I'll let ya beat me in GoCart devil.gif

REDISTRIBUTION OF TIME
I suppose it's an expression as good as any other, a few days ago I resigned from my job. I wored as a lawyers assistant for the past 6 months but it finally took the best out of me. It's a great feeling to be free from a regular job again, and I plan to start studying asap. This means a few things that are good and a few that are less good. Not so good parts are cashflow, though I think I got that part covered pretty well. The absolutley amazing thing is the extra hours of time I get to be in the studio, work on webpages & develope the future of trance[]control. I've barely started out though I've found a whole lot of interesting solutions that I want to implement into our new homepage and I'll let you know all about it as soon as we know how to do it all.

MISC
During our stay in Canada we gave our agent there a mission to get us two more performances this year, his responce was a smile (meaning -Ok, sure!) and he also told us we might have a chance to go on a 3 week tour to Austrailia in March 2004! Keep your fingers X-ed for this to happend!

We also got a few compilations coming up with our tracks on them, I can't tell you too much about this right now as I didn't yet receive the complete tracklist though I can tell you the first of two compilations is due for release in Japan soon... Next one will be in France.

I got a call from our UK agent today saying that she is about to fire up her own label... So in short I recognized trance[]control as being interested for releases through their label... I'm also going to London, UK in a few weeks to visit some labels & other people to try and get some trance[]control stuff out on Vinyl...

Ok, I guess I'll have to stop here, and I surely have to write my diary more often blush.gif

Tomorrow we're gonna celebrate my B-Day and my lovely girlfriend arrives from Oslo, Norway (she kinda lives & study there) tomorrow afternoon to join us! I didn't get a chance to see her at all during the past 3 weeks due to perparations with the performance in Montreal and I miss her like crazy...

Well well, some lonely bedtime awaits for me...
Take care & be safe

Best,

Alex
