Rave parties and Drugs

Hey Guys!

I've seen that some ppl talked about rave parties and drugs in the general section so i started a topic about it here to hear from you what you think of this problem.
I put it here 'cause i know that TC has nothing to do with drugs, so it would look really wierd to talk about drugs in the General TC section.

Now right on:
I don't have much experians (okey i know that my spelling sux, but please give me a break) of beeing at rave parties, but i know that there's much nuts on the parties.
People who don't realise how much damage drugs cost to them and others.
I think there's many great producers who are taking drugs, some for just relax and others just for other reasons, and i think it sucks really hard.
There are many kids out there who's looking up to them and thinks like, "oh can he take drugs, why can't i do that to" and i think it's time to try change our society and how we look at drugs.
Here in Sweden it's not THAT big problem compared to other countries.
I want to know how you feel about drugs and how big that problem are in your country?

If you want to be anonymus than it's ok, but i think it's really sissy if you support drugs and can't stand up for it.

All the Best

Well drugs are prominent here in parts of the US but I don't think they're a huge problem. Theres still illegal drugs tho. Even so, theres a lot of ppl guzzling down six packs of Bud Light and smoking six packs of cigarettes a day(*cough*) but its really not that bad. I dunno how it is at the raves and stuff tho. Quite honestly Ive never been to one myself but I know a couple of people who have and they have a great time but they say if u got the mindset to resist the drugs it shouldnt be a problem 4 u but i dunno. Im curious how it is around the world.

Hey, I personally think drugs suck. As far as I know, raves have drugs. In my opinion, it would be very possible to have one without drugs. I mean, all you have to do to have a rave, is, well, dance, glowstick, even just sit down (don't smoke drugs while sitting though   ) So Anyway's tell me what u think. And remember, DBZ, Trance, and other crap rulez!

I know. They really need a rave with like no drugs, no sex, no violence, that would be tight. Just a clean environment to have fun, stay up late and enjoy good trance music. Ah yes.... that would be the life. Hehe.

I've done E before, I've smoked weed, and I've drank hard liquior. I've been to a rave. I had A LOT of fun. Without drugs. It was phenominal the music is what gave me the high of a live time!!! Don't get me wrong. When I did E, I liked it I had fun and my mind was as open as the sky. It was kool but not for a rave. When that music hits you it like taking every drug at once.!! RAVES ARE COOL. Drugs I don't mind cuz its not a problem, in my life anyway. I've not done it a lot but when I did it it was cool. I was with the fly girls and some funny friends so I had fun. But when comes to music and dancing and prodcution, drugs are not cool. Welll
i heard that when producing on E or LSD, you get super creative. I don't know though. To afraid of doin LSD or E while producing. The music would probly give me a heart attack. Ha. Welll anyway. Thats my opinion.

Dj StyleLord - THE SOUNDESIGN

PS
Don't have sex on E Even though you will last long you'll never bust.

i think those in the general topic got me wrong. Drugs suck.. Why the f**k would you want to kill what you have precious little to begin with? (braincells) I have never done drugs, nor smoke, nor drink, and never intend to... Rave without drugs is possible.. but there always is going to be one not a very nice person who will bring in the drugs... The wisdom of my Lax captain "If he's got the ball, pregnant dog him!" (aka, mess him up) If you have the right crowd and right measures, it is quite possible, and like Dance Mixx said, the best environment for a rave. my pos speakers cant get TC as loud as i want it... heh, i need some 28 inch speakers soon..

Yeah it's true that the music should be a kick that makes you more high than drugs.
I've anyways felt that way.
I think it would be interesting to hear from some dude that lives in Holland (Netherlands) or Canada about the drug problems in their country.

Dj StyleLord:
I know what u mean with the produceing part, i personally think there's many trance & goa producers taking that stuff just to feel wierd.
But if you try, you can get really wierd without drugs, trust me, i can
I hope you're clean today my friend!

Hi Opium,

I'm from Holland. And most young people (age 12-and further) here often smoke weed. Smoking weed is Legal here. We have many coffeeshops where you can buy weed so young peole easily get in touch with these soft drugs. Later they are gonna try other stuff like XTC when they go to a Rave. Last year 2 people died by the cause of GHB-drugs on a party.

Also a lot of people smoke regular cigarettes here, but that's in every country i think?

I don't use drugs and stuff  i also don't drink alcohol!

Like you all said before:
MUSIC ARE OUR DRUGS!

Hey TB!
Yeah, regular Cigg is legal here and many are smookers.
Man i don't really understand how weed can be legal, but every country has their own sight at drugs.
But in the end, drugs will kill you.
Anyways it will f**k up your health.

It hurts so bad to hear that young kids are smookin' weed man.
In Sweden we are complaning about when kids at 14 - 17 yers old smookes regular cigg.
But GHB is getting a bigger and bigger problem over here for every year.

XTC is very popular at underground raves here in Sweden.
I have a girlfriend who's a real ravelunatic and have been for several years.
And i know how f**ked up she where when she was high.
She explained everything and how it felt using drugs to psy music and all the lights and nuts.
But nodays she's clean and i'm very happy over that, she's like a whole new person nowdays!

Take Care

i think if ppl want to take drugs they can  - aslong as they dont force other ppl to do so. unfortunately its become its become a social and almost standard thing to take an e or even harder nuts like speed at raves.. i myself am very  clean - only drinking - not smoking even tobacco.. i know ppl who take stuff and are still cool - cept they generally dont have any money and are pretty spaced out most of the time..

theres no good saying "drugs suck" cos ppl will always follow the crowd - you need change on a big scale - and ultimately this comes down to ppl with influence telling ppl to have clean fun. the only hting you can do is keep yourself clean and let other ppl be. no use being imposing on other ppl - cos thats generally why ppl do drugs - to escape. to get away.

music is my escape.

my 2 cents.
