Laurasia

Release date: May 25′th, 2012
©℗ 2012 trance[]control
Catalogue #: TCR-012-03
ISRC: US-HM2-12-16891

I’m very proud to present the third track produced in 2012 named Laurasia. This is a 9+ minute melodic trance piece, quite fast (140 BPM) yet with a laid back almost symphonic feel. An enormous soundscape and an abundance of details should keep you entertained while listening to this beast of a track many times over.

Get your fix @ iTunes, Amazon, BandCamp, Spotify or do a search for trance[]control – Laurasia (Who knows what you’ll find)

As releasing music on BandCamp proved to be such a great success I’ll be doing the very same thing with this track, but with a twist. I’ll let You decide weather or not you’d like to pay for it and You get to name the price! Free downloads are limited to 2,100.

In return I hope that you’ll be so kind to share this news with your friends and possibly drop me a comment or review, to help me in the quest of once more putting trance[]control on the map and on as many music devices possible across the globe.

They keep outdoing themselves

Jun 21, 2012 by Ramon

After being swamped in house and dubstep for so many years, I forgot my trance roots. This is a beautiful track that sounds commercial enough but still maintains the brilliance and interest of an underground track, and most important, the original sound of T[]C. Now, a really modern-sounding remix of Lobotomized Unicorn wouldn't hurt! That one and Gothenburg Sound, which pushed me to learn to produce my own tracks, are my old favorites.

Echoes of Trance[]Control

Jun 05, 2012 by Maethius

Back in the day, on MP3.com... when it was free for unknown artists and for their fans... I stumbled upon Trance[]Control. I also downloaded everything they produced. Now, after a six year hiatus, they are back! Not only is T[]C back, not a single 120+BPS beat has been missed. Three tracks so far this year, each upholding the deep, crisp sounds of their past tunes. "Laurasia" keeps the tradition alive with the signature "build and re-build" that I have come to love from T[]C. It is a classic that fits right in with old favorites like "Gothenburg Sound", "Riding Mary Jane", "Peak Time", and "Small Drops of Acid." A solid, melodic trance track that provides a true audio landscape experience. Welcome home, Trance[]Control.

In a world where Trance has gone commercial...

Jun 01, 2012 by Joey

..You guys still somehow manage to keep the spirit of the underground alive! I still remember you guys from your MP3.com days (which is what got me into Trance in the first place), and this tune still holds the same high standards as the ones you posted back then. Thanks for not changing one bit, and keep going! =)

Solid trancer that brings me back

Great job! Really excited to hear you producing things again. The breakdown/filtered synth buildup brought me back to a time before people were afraid to do that.

Keep it up.
