Mission 2002, Vol 1 (Remastered)

All previous versions of this album (Both CD and Digital) have been constructed using 160 Kbps MP3 files. Thanks to my hoarding friends I’ve managed to rebuild my collection of uncompressed masters. This album is the freshly remastered version of the original and if you happened to have the originally released MP3 file of any of the tracks on this release – you’ll quickly learn the monstrous difference between original and fresh remastered version.

Mission 2002 Volume 1 was originally released mid 2002. The Mission series was a simple quest – produce and release one track per week. All in all there are three volumes holding a total of 26 original tracks. All preexisting CD’s where made from low quality MP3 files – This release has been made possible as I’ve searched through hundreds of old CD’s found in storage and at old friends houses to regroup my collection of master recordings.

This is the first of the three albums in the Mission 2002 series holding some of our most known hallmark tracks such as “Gothenburg Sound”, “Haunted Souls” and “Restricted Area”.

Please help me to spread the word if you enjoy my initiative of releasing past and future work on BandCamp at the silly rate of $1 per album.

  1. Love the unique feel to this track. The low pulse and eerie nature of the tune makes for great Doom music. :)

  2. Another perfect track for loosing the pain on hell in the old classic Doom 2. (Many happy zombie memories!) Still rocks the house!
