About the track

The band's 2012 page dates Heaven to 2004 and credits Alexander Carlborg and Andreas Wennersköld as producers. Alexander has said it was made for the band's 2004 performance at Heaven in London, and when the record was announced in May 2005 Andreas and Alexander both confirmed that it was one of the songs of the Massive set there.3,4,1

On 10 May 2005 the band announced Heaven as the first of its long-delayed releases: side A of BTR-005, Vinyl Victory Volume One, on the Canadian label Black Tiger Recordings, with D-Wave's "It's my time" on side B. It was due in Canada and the USA around 18 May, and on 20 May it was shipping to stores, with DJMR in Montreal the first online shop to have it in stock and records going to shops in the UK and in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.1,2,5

On 14 June 2005 Alexander reported that the record had reached No. 1 on the DJMR trance chart. In 2012 Heaven was remastered for the collection Lost and Found.5,6,7,8
