About the track

The band put it on MP3.com on 7 December 2002 as "trance[]control VS Dynamo - LIEBE", celebrating that its downloads had passed 6,000,000, and described it as a somewhat chillout-styled track with a clubbish sound and feel. The band's website called it a progressive melodic track co-produced with Dynamo.1,4

On the MISSION 2002 Vol.2 CD it was listed as "LIEBE [2002] (BRATS UNiTED)". In October 2003 Alexander explained that he and Claes (Dynamo) of Outfly now went under the name Brats United, and in February 2004 he wrote that Liebe was not a trance[]control track but a Brats United song. The band's discography of 2005 lists it on the Japanese compilation Trance Gamer 2 as Brats United - Liebe.5,2,3,6

Listeners on the band's forum noted in December 2002 that it sounded unlike the band's usual work, while others praised its melody and processed voices. Alexander answered that the band had to develop its work by its own free will, and in March 2004 he explained that the voices were vocoded samples from a sample CD, not the band's own vocals.1,7

In their words

“Call it a sonic exploration.”

Alexander Carlborg, 13 December 20021

“the sampels in Liebe are not our own vocals - they're simply voccodised samples form a sample CD.”

Alexander Carlborg, 11 March 20047
