About the track
The band revealed the remix in its newsletter of 30 May 2000, announcing it for release on 12-inch through Flash Traxx/SHR on 13 June. By October 2000 it listed the remix on A Tribute to Madonna - Tranceformed, a 12-inch remix EP on Colossal/SHR with three other remixes, calling it "one of the best tracks we've ever made according to us and others". The remix also opened the unmixed disc of SHR's compilation Extacy (Ecstacy Vol.1).3,1,2,4,5
Later the band put the remix on its MP3.com page, filed under Electronic Cover Songs, explaining that it had been released on "a VERY hard-to-get 12" EP" and was now out "for easy access".6
In their words
“Until now we've kept this as a bit of a secret but here we go.”
