About the release

According to the band's biography of June 2000, the two signed a contract for a 12-inch with the label Flash Traxx late at night on 10 February 2000, after four months of negotiation. The band's MP3.com profile dates the deal to 18 February and names UC Music, whose Dance Music Store sold Flash Traxx's records. On MP3.com the band announced that its first 12-inch would hold two unreleased tracks, and it previewed them as clips 1 and 2 of a track called FUTURE 12" RELEASES on its MP3.com page.3,4,5,6,2

Flash Traxx released Health Warning (FLA-009) worldwide on 11 April 2000, with Psychotic Chaos and Welcome to the House, which the band called brand new tracks. The band's pages gave the label as Flash Traxx / SHR / Chicago, with the music published by Popwire and administered by Universal, and sent buyers to dancemusicstore.com or their local record store. Both tracks were also on SHR's compilation Extacy that summer.1,2,7

By the end of June 2000 the band had received many complaints that its 12-inch records were hard to find, and asked fans to name record stores that should carry them. In February 2002 the Dance Music Store still listed Health Warning, as FL 009, at $6.98 with a RealAudio preview. In October 2003, when the label no longer existed, Alexander named Health Warning and the EP trance[]control as the band's only two vinyl releases, "ancient by now".8,6,9
