Background
Airbase is the main alias of Jezper Söderlund, a trance producer and DJ from Gothenburg, Sweden, who also recorded as Scarab, Rah, Ozone, One Man Army and under other names. He began DJing in 1995 and signed his first record deal in 2001 with the German label Alphabet City, for Airbase – Emotion. [1, 2]
At the time
By 2004 he had released on labels such as Platipus, Armada, J00F and Gesture, and hosted a twice-monthly radio show, Airbase Sessions, on ets-global.org. His 2004 releases included Pandemonium / Ocean Realm as Airbase and The Anthem as One Man Army, and the Massive flyer billed him with a note calling One Man Army Mixmag's Single of the Month. Later
From around 2005 he worked almost only as Airbase, and his debut album, We Might Fall, came out on Intuition in 2011. He was still releasing as Airbase in 2026, with singles on Black Hole Recordings. [1, 2]
