Background
DJ Centaury was a Swiss trance DJ who began playing in public in mid-1994; his own site listed residencies at Macumba in Fribourg from 1996 to 1998 and, from early 1998, at the White Wolf raves in the Maag Areal in Dietikon. With Wavetraxx he produced tracks such as 'Lazarus' and the Wavescope single 'Emotion' in 2001. [1, 2, 3]
At the time
In August 2003 the Danish organisers Trance Network brought him to Odense to headline 'The Sky Is The Limit', noting that he had played that year's Street Parade in Zürich. His 2004 schedule included Energy '04 and the Street Parade in Zürich and a return to Trance Network in Odense on 4 September, and in October 2004 he mixed the PartyGuide.ch Trance Compilation Vol. 1 with DJ Chilli. Later
In 2005 Illuminate Records released 'Ipanema', made with Synthetic, and Trance Network booked him in Odense for a third time. In April 2025 ZYX Trance released 'Zoom', a track by DJ Sakin and DJ Centaury. [1, 2, 3]
