Background
Ed Real is a UK hard house DJ and producer. In August 2004 his label's site said he had been DJing for 11 years, was one of the original Nukleuz DJ team and had spent five and a half years as A&R for what it called "the UK's biggest-selling 12" label". [1, 2]
At the time
In 2003 he co-mixed Nukleuz's HardHouse Anthems 4 with Rob Tissera. In July 2004, shortly after leaving Nukleuz, he and BK launched the hard dance label Riot! Recordings, whose third release, in November 2004, was the Riot! Gear EP with James Lawson. He also ran the club night Riot! at The End in London. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Later
He co-mixed the TV-advertised Hard Dance Republic albums in 2005 and, with BK, Riot!'s Filthy House For Dirty Stopouts in 2006, and co-mixed Hard Dance Awards albums between 2007 and 2011. Riot! released his mix A Decade Of Riot! in 2011, and Discogs lists him as co-owner of the download store Trackitdown.net. [1, 2]
