Background

Franz Preisz was a Copenhagen-based trance DJ who, according to a 2003 Danish booking profile, was the only Danish DJ to have officially played London's Ministry of Sound and had been booked in France, Germany, Sweden, Australia and the USA. In 2002 the German label Plusquam Records released 'DJ Hallucination' by Nemesis, a project tied to the Italian producer Riccardo Falsini, with a remix by Franz Preisz. [1, 2]

At the time

In spring 2004 FutureClub's site described him as upfront editor of DJ & Dance Magazine, a DJ on several radio shows and the holder of four club residencies in Copenhagen, and his own site presented him as a 'Virtual Reality Trance DJ' and progressive house producer. In 2003 he was billed for the Danish float at Love Parade in Berlin in July and for Trance Network's party in Odense in August. [1, 2, 3, 4]
