On the bill

At Docklands the act was most likely represented by its touring DJ, Krid P.: Rotor's resident DJ listed the night as "with Krid P from Future Breeze", and from 1999 Krid P. toured as "Future Breeze feat. DJ Krid P." [1, 2]

Background

Future Breeze began in Essen in 1995 as a trance project of the DJs and producers Markus Boehme and Martin Hensing. Their single "Why Don't You Dance With Me" reached No. 14 in Germany in 1996, and their mix of Sash!'s "Encore une fois" was the single version that reached No. 2 in the UK in 1997. [1, 2, 3]

At the time

"Temple of Dreams" reached No. 21 in the UK in April 2002, and "Ocean of Eternity" came out on Kontor Records on 1 July 2002, six weeks before the Docklands night; it reached No. 69 in Germany and, in December, No. 46 in the UK. The duo's site reported that "Heaven Above" climbed to No. 5 in the German Dance Charts in November 2002, but a finished second album was shelved in August 2003, and the singles "Push / Second Life" and "Out of the Blue" followed in 2004. Later

A new album, Second Life, came out in 2005, followed by singles such as "Adagio for Strings" (2009). Producer Vincent Price joined the project in 2021, a new version of "Ocean of Eternity" with DJ T.H. and Nora Ann appeared in 2024, and in June 2026 Future Breeze played Sunshine Live's "Die 90er – Live on Stage".
