Background
Warp Brothers was a German DJ and production act started in 1999 by the DJs Oliver Goedicke and Jürgen Dohr, playing hard house and hard trance. Their singles Phatt Bass (with Aquagen) and We Will Survive reached Nos. 9 and 19 in the UK singles chart around the turn of 2000–2001. [1, 2, 3]
At the time
In 2003 they released the album Warp Factor and the single Going Insane with Red Monkey, the former MC of Public Domain. Their 2004 booking list ran from Velfarre in Tokyo and a tour of Australia to clubs in the US, Finland, Estonia and the UK, and that year they released the mix CDs TranzWorld 7 and TranzWorld 8. [1, 2, 3]
Later
Jürgen Dohr left in 2010, and from 2014 Warp Brothers were Oliver Goedicke and Peter Sildegren. New versions of Phatt Bass came out in 2024, and the act was still releasing music in 2026. [1]
