PLURFEST 2000 – Vol. 1 PEACE

Performed Confirmed as performed.

3 June 2000 · Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The band's first US performance. Alexander recalls about 5,000 people, Christopher Lawrence on the bill, fire doors forced open at the start and the sub-bass system clipping during Another Beat.

The story

Before

On 17 April 2000 the band announced its first gig in the United States. It had no promoter and did not intend to get one, and asked listeners to help it reach their areas. On 30 May it wrote that within a few days it would be on the flight to Colorado Springs for its very first US live PA. [1, 2]

After

On 29 June the band released a new track dedicated "to the guys from PLUR Fest in Ft Collins", and on 17 August it added pictures from PLUR Fest to the live section of its site. [1]
