14 February 2004 · Seattle, USA
Flagged "( ! )" in the 2005 agenda, the same mark used for the canceled Love Parade 2004. Planned as the first date of the band's "tc[]love" tour of the US and Canada: the tour coordinator's announcement of November 2003 gave Seattle on Friday 13 February 2004, and the band's website 14 February. The date then slipped towards March, and on 4 February 2004 the band wrote that the tour, and the Seattle date with it, was postponed. In June 2005 it wrote that its last US performance had been PLURFEST 2000.
The story
Before
In November 2003 the band announced its first tour, branded "tc[]love" and coordinated from Seattle by Nick Tornetta of Frequency-8 Records, who was also to be the support act. His announcement called it the band's first US appearance in nearly four years and listed Seattle on Friday 13 February, with open dates on the following weekends. Alexander told listeners the Seattle show would not be a weekly club night but a party for about 2,000 people; in December the coordinator expected 21 February or mid-March. [1, 2]
