The story
Before
On 7 November 1999 the band announced that its first live gig was booked: a party for the Sony PlayStation game Wipeout 3 at Medborgarhuset on Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm, with the band on stage around midnight. It planned to film the set for a Real Video stream and an MPEG download. [1]
The night
"The WIP3OUT Party was a complete success even though only 280 people showed up," the band wrote on 1 December. It played for 28 minutes, with its own cameraman filming and several photographers at the party. [1]
After
The band meant to cut the film into a video for the web, and wrote that the party had brought a few new gigs. Putting the live set together had kept it from releasing a new track that month. [1]
