About the track

In November 2003 Alexander wrote that the band's very first work was Another Beat, made on an old 386 DX 40 MHz PC with 4 MB RAM and a Sound Blaster AWE32 sound card. The band's MP3.com entry described the later version as a remix of "one of the first track ever made by trance[]control": the original ran at 155 BPM, the remix at 130 BPM, produced by DjC & WennE. The remix was on the ten-track Beyond 2000 that MP3.com sold in November 1999.1,2,3

Alexander recalls that at PLURFEST 2000 in Fort Collins, Colorado, on 3 June 2000, the sub-bass system clipped during Another Beat.4
