About the release
By July 2004 the release page for Beyond 2001 on the band's website gave trance[]control Productions as the record label, with the album's original date in August 2000 and the same eleven tracks. The band's discography gave that label name to all its CD albums, while the 12-inch records and compilations of 2000 and 2001 stayed under SHR.1,2
Alexander identifies this edition as the band's own CD reissue of the album, made after the band parted with Strictly Hype Recordings. The archive holds no release date, catalogue number or shop listing for it: unlike the page for OUT THERE, the Beyond 2001 page had no link to buy the CD, the band's web shop of 2004 and 2005 offered only the CDs it sold through Ampcast, and in June 2004 its music page still sent buyers to Amazon.com for the Sunrise original and the Warlock Records re-release of 2002.3,1,2,4,5
