About the release

MP3.com, where the band had sold its own CDs, stopped selling CDs on 17 November 2003, and Alexander wrote that he was already talking to CD duplication companies. In January 2004 the band began recreating its earlier CDs at Ampcast, though in early April Alexander still had to tell a listener that it had no CDs available. On 30 April 2004 it reissued OUT THERE there, on the same day as MISSION 2002 Vol.1 and Vol.2 and the new Vol.3.4,5,6,2

Alexander noted that the CD, priced at $12.50, was not exactly the album SHR had released, because Ampcast allowed 70 minutes and the original ran 78:48. Its nine tracks were Bring out the Dead, A Concept of Love (in Harmony), Out There, Beginning of the End, Come to Daddy, Conga Trance, Deep Vibrations, High Society and Distorted Minds. Ampcast's CDs were CD-Rs carrying only the audio, without the MP3 files and extras of the old MP3.com discs.1

The band's shop sold it as the reissue of an album of which only a few hundred copies had reached the market. Its music page of June 2004 dated the re-release 30 May 2004, and its later discography listed this edition under trance[]control Productions with the original's date, 5 February 2002.7,8,9
