About the track

The track was on the.demo.cd, the five-track CD the band sold through MP3.com from 10 January 1999, and on the songs page of 10 March 1999 it stood at No. 4 on MP3.com's techno chart and No. 21 on the Top 40. MP3.com filed it under Hard House, and the band described it as "a really energetic House/Rave tune" for late-night clubs and raves. It was also on Beyond 2000.1,3,4,2,5

By 2003 the band had rewritten its MP3.com description: the genre was "really hard to determine", the track "HARD like hell", and tests on dancefloors had given it a "party-factor" of 9.7 out of 10. In 2001 the band's trance[]control ReMixed network listed a fan remix of it. In October 2003 Alexander told the forum that This is my HOUSE and Welcome to the House, from the Health Warning 12-inch, were two different tracks.6,7,8,9
