On the bill with trance[]control: Waterworld, Montreal (26 September 2003)
Background
Phosphor and Justrich were Winnipeg hardcore DJ-producers: Justrich had moved from house, techno and hip-hop to happy hardcore around 1999, and Phosphor began producing in late 1998, formed the live tracking duo Modulo-2 and also made hard house as phaXis. As the Blizzard Boys they released mostly on their own label, Blizzard Tracks, billed as "100% Canadian Hardcore". [1, 2, 3, 4]
At the time
Blizzard Tracks' first release, "Losing It" / "Back Bass", came out in June 2003; on 15 July 2003 John Peel broadcast a Blizzard Boys mix on BBC Radio 1, and their "Ain't No Stoppin' This" was No. 48 in Peel's Festive Fifty for 2003. Justrich's site announced the Waterworld booking as "Blizzard Boys (justrich and phosphor)". [1, 2, 3, 4]
Later
Both kept releasing on Blizzard Tracks, including the shared single "Booty Calls / 4 Beat Hustler" (2005); Phosphor issued digital singles on the label until 2011 and "777" with Dain-Ja in 2012. [1, 2]
