About the track

MISSION 2002 was the band's plan to release one new track a week; in June 2003 its website counted the releases against a goal of 52, and Alexander later wrote that the tracks were numbered in the order they were made. The band described Spring as gorgeous yet fast and energetic, and noted that the two members had combined their forces to complete it.1,2,3

It opened MISSION 2002 Vol.1, the band's CD of the first nine releases, sold through MP3.com from 20 June 2002.4,1,5

In their words
