About the release
After the first two volumes Alexander turned to finishing the remastering of Volume 3. He published it first on Bandcamp, as a pre-release some days before it reached iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Spotify and the other stores, at $1 or any price the buyer chose, with single tracks free and some tracks as 24-bit/96 kHz WAV files; the band's site gives 3 May 2012 as its release date.3,1,2
Its page described the album, originally released early in 2004, as holding hallmark tracks such as Unicorn R.I.P, Imported Nightmare and Riding Mary-Jane, and repeated that all earlier CDs had been made from low-quality MP3 files.2
In their words
“I just published the last remastered album in the Mission 2002 series on BandCamp.”
